The background is a blue wall. There is a sunflower in a white vase on a cream table. The foreground is dark grey text that reads "Bed Rest Day 6". - Bed Rest: Day 6

Since my appointment in London on Thursday, I have been on bed rest. My knee became inflamed on the way back from London because I did a lot more walking than I have done for a very long time, even though it was only a total of about half an hour.

I hate when I damage my knee like this. There’s not very much I can do, so I get very bored. My possible activities have been greatly reduced since last time this happened, as my other symptoms restrict what I can do. I am spending most of my time in bed, even more than I was already. Damaging my knee can no longer cook or bake at the moment, which I love to do. It’s so relaxing. It doesn’t take very much effort, either, so it’s one of the things my symptoms didn’t stop me from doing.

Thankfully, I bought some crutches when I sprained my ankle for the fifth time. The past few days, I’ve been hopping around on those doing what I can. There really is nothing I can do except lie in bed with it elevated, as it’s my knee that’s damaged, not my ankle.

The photo is a Pinterest pin which is split into two sections. The background at the top of the pin is light blue with bold white writing that reads "Bed Rest: Day 6". The bottom of the pin is a photo of a green succulent in a grey pot against a cream/grey background. There is a small white circle in the middle of the pin with a blue medical ribbon in the middle.
