I am officially dropping out of college! This means I’ll be a college drop out… again.

I have been debating whether to drop out of college for a while now, but I have finally decided I am going to, so I can do distance learning with different subjects. Even though I was going to wait a month to drop out, I have decided that, if my symptoms allow me to, I am going to become a doctor to help people like me, which means I will have to change my subjects. I was studying law and psychology, but I need biology, chemistry and a third subject to study medicine. I really enjoyed psychology when I was studying it, so have decided that will be my third subject.
The decision to become a doctor was both easy and difficult. I have always wanted to help people and briefly thought about becoming a doctor a few times since I was little, but I was really squeamish, so it was a very unrealistic career choice. Since I have been ill, I have found medicine so much more interesting and I have started to become desensitised to organs, which are what I was squeamish about. I have to thank Grey’s Anatomy for this! It is also a way to make the best of a bad situation. I have learned so much information about so many symptoms and diagnoses on my journey, and I expect I will end up learning a lot more if I do have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and dysautonomia, so becoming a doctor is a good thing to do with all the information.
For those of you who keep telling me you love my MacBook case, or are asking where I bought it, it’s the *KECC MacBook Pro hard shell in Rainbow Mist 2.
