I was told by one of my doctors to start doing Pilates to improve muscle tone. Thankfully, one of my mum’s friends is a Pilates teacher, so she comes over every Wednesday to do some with me.
I’ve only had two sessions so far, one this morning and one last week. My hips killed after last week and I can tell they’re going to hurt tomorrow, too. It’s a bit ironic that you do Pilates to help ease the muscle pain and then doing it actually makes them hurt more. Hopefully it’s worth it.
I actually quite enjoy the sessions. They’re very peaceful. It’s a bit like meditating but in strange positions or while doing gentle exercises. I feel really relaxed afterwards.
